This adaptation of The Picture of Dorian Gray is a story about the struggle to reconcile what people show to the outside world with the parts that they choose to hide.

Who We Are

This production is a collaboration between Alias Theater and Loose Cannon.

Loose Cannon is a creative partnership between Leon Pierik and Jelke Ludolphij. Together, we wrote, produced, and directed "Where the Sun Slumbers" in 2024. Since then, we have been busy writing new scripts, including "The Picture of Dorian Gray".

Alias Theater is a new production company in Groningen, helping directors and theatre makers realize their visions with their experience and passion in producing for the stage and everything behind the scenes.We would not be able to do this without the help and enthusiasm of all the volunteers involved in the production!
