Set in a time of pandemics this awkward witty comedy has several love stories woven into the fabric of the play.
This play starts with the King of Navarre and his 3 friends promising to keep a vow of social isolation. Rather than live their lives the way they had before, they consider it safer to quarantine themselves.
But then kismet brings a group of 4 attractive women, who show up for a business deal, as representatives of the King of France. Due to the vow of social isolation, the women are forced to camp out in the field.
Imagine Charlie's Angels meets Big Bang Theory; or a Friends’ episode during the Bubonic Plague set in 16th century France with a 21st century twist.
Directed by William Sutton. Presented by the We Love Shakespeare Ensemble.
