Do you have a favourite podcast audio drama or an idea for one that'd be great?
Did you grow up listening to radio plays and always wanted to write your own?
Are you interested in writing for something other than the stage?
This workshop is an introduction, for writers of all levels, to writing for audio drama. It will cover everything you need to develop an idea, story and characters into a one act audio play, culminating in a showcase performance.
The course will be taught by Denis Burke and Jon Madge. Denis is a script writer and facilitator, and co-founder of Downstage Left, an award winning Amsterdam-based theatre collective. Jon has been a writer for stage and audio for 15 years, with work staged in 3 countries created, and is the creator of the top 20 comedy fiction audiodrama series Keeping the Zoo.
